March 7th was Cupka's birthday and we had a blast celebrating with him! Sloane can't quite say "Grandpa" yet...so it comes out "Cupka" and I think it just might stick!
We started out the day with a train ride at Balboa Park...one of Sloane's most favorite things to do...and Cupka too!
So much so, he took her on twice!
Then, for dinner, we had Cupka's favorite: Puerto Nuevo style lobster & carne asada with rice and beans. As you can see, Sloane is dressed for the birthday "fiesta."
She loved playing with Cupka's birthday balloons.

In the end, he said it was his best birthday ever!
