A Very Merry Un-birthday!

Today is Sloane's half birthday...and I can't even believe it!!  This little girl is 18 months old...and officially halfway to her 2nd birthday!  So, we had to celebrate!
We started out the day with a special breakfast!
Next up...her very first visit to Sea World!
Checking out the polar bears and beluga whales in the Wild Arctic exhibit.

Loved seeing the penguin encounter the same as it always was...Mommy and Daddy loved reminiscing about our own childhoods spent here.

Daddy and Sloane's first time in the shark exhibit.

Stopped for a little snack and some impromptu dancing in the middle of the park.  They have speakers throughout that continuously play music...Sloane loved it!

Sloane loved seeing the flamingos up close...
...and even better?  She got to feed them!

 Shamu spotting.
Thanks to cousin Erika for getting us the tickets!!

 Manta Rays

The former "Captain Kidd's World" is now "Sesame Street Bay of Play" and it has been upgraded with some pretty fun rides...like the flying Elmo Fish!
Sloane absolutely loved this ride...and as soon as it was finished...she promptly said "MORE!"

So Daddy took her for round two!

It was so nice to see that the huge play structure and jumpy pads we remember as kids are still there and Sloane loved the toddler pad!

She had absolutely no fear climbing through the long snake tunnel!
 Here she comes!!

Sloane and Daddy bounced around for a bit before it was time to go!

Such a fun day!  Happy half-birthday to our sweet Sloane!

  1. Wow, what an amazing and fun-filled day you had "Princess Leia"! Mom and Dad sure know how to show you a good time. Mommy probably wanted to make sure you saw the shark tank because "Jaws" was one if her favorite movies. (Wonder if she went in?)

  2. What a special day for such a special girl! Starting with waffles and then Sea World -- Mommy and Daddy celebrated with their favorite daughter doing some of their favorite things! And riding with Elmo-- more, more!
