I Heart NY

Well...when we heard that our dear friend Spencer was going to be back on Broadway...we couldn't help but book a trip to NYC!
 We have arrived.
Spring was in full swing in the city...and it was just beautiful!

We found this hidden garden in the West Village near our apartment...just stunning.

We headed WAY up to Washington Heights to check out the Cloisters...home of the famous Unicorn tapestries.

 Beautiful grounds...views...and gardens.

Spencer took us to an authentic speakeasy in the LES before dinner....they've been serving booze in teacups since the 1920s! Cheers!
What a beautiful day for a boat ride...a fire boat ride to be exact!

A few of New York's bravest took us out on Marine 6 for a tour of the harbor.

They even did a pump display at the Brooklyn bridge!

Next up...Spence's show...Dr. Zhivago.  We sat front row, center...
...literally right behind the conductor.  This is the view from my seat.  This also gave us a great view of Spencer's many mustaches!
I heart NY.

  1. What beautiful photos of a wonderful time in NYC! Spencer looks great and of course, you had some laughs together. The fireboat trip looks fantastic -- what a treat from the fellow firemen. Thanks for sharing!!
