More Disney Fun!

In taking advantage of our annual passes...we headed back up to Disneyland for a day of Disney fun!

 We started the day with a visit to Minnie's house...Sloane's favorite!

 This time we went next door to meet Mickey for the first time!

 Sloane was very excited to meet Mickey!

 Sloane's first visit to the haunted mansion...all decked out for the Nightmare Before Christmas!

 Sloane also got to ride Autopia for the first time...and thought it was soooooo fun driving the car with Daddy!

 We finished the day in fantasyland on Dumbo and the Teacups.

 Sloane loved spinning the teacup...Mommy not so much!

She didn't even move when we transferred her from the car...sweet Disney dreams...

It's the Great Pumpkin Sloanie Bear!

Despite the 100+ degree weather...we decided to head up to the country with the Santamarias for some good ol'fashioned pumpkin patch fun!  Sloane loved the hayride and pumpkins...but the pony ride was her favorite by far!!!

 Her favorite, though, was the pony ride!  She absolutely loved it and couldn't stop talking about it!  "More, more pony rides!!"

Apple Picking

In an attempt to summon fall...we took Sloane apple and pear picking at Starr Organic Orchards in Julian.  She loved searching for the fruit and learning how to pluck it from the tree.  She especially loved watching Mommy and Daddy use the apple picker...but the VERY best part was...getting to eat all the yummy apples and pears!  Sloane jumped at the opportunity to sample the fruit right off of the tree!

Sloanie Bear Visits the Doctor

Sloane visited the doctor for her two year old wellness appointment right after she turned two.  The doctor has been a difficult destination ever since she turned one and had the ability to remember and associate the doctor with getting shots.  We were fully prepared for a fairly unpleasant experience...but ended up being pleasantly surprised by her calm, sweet demeanor and no tears bravery when she had to get a shot!  She was handsomely rewarded with a trip to get frozen yogurt!

 Very excited about her special "dress" and seeing Dr. Wu!  

At 24 months Sloane weighs in at 24 pounds and stands 32 inches tall.

West Coast...Best Coast

We have been taking full advantage of this seemingly endless SoCal summer...and Sloane has become a full-fledged beach bunny.  We spend many of our days hanging at the beach...which is on the bay...which means no big waves...so Sloane LOVES building sandcastles and running in and out of the water!
