Tenth Anniversary!

Believe it or not Brian and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary on July 3rd!  I can't believe it has been 10 years!  Time really does fly.  To celebrate...Brian and I took our first trip away from Sloane!! We returned to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (more specifically, Punta Mita) where we got engaged 11 years ago!  It was VERY hard being away from Sloane, but we had a good time nonetheless and 4 days was the perfect amount of time...we came home to a smiley, giggly, happy little girl who had lots of fun with her grandparents while Mommy and Daddy were away!

The champagne ritual in the lobby at the St. Regis.
Enjoying an afternoon hammock swing after our arrival...we could see boats out in the distance that we thought were dive boats...but learned later that they were military boats there to protect the president of Mexico and his family, who was staying at our hotel!

The Mita Mary...our favorite beach side taco stand...serving fresh fish tacos everyday for lunch!
We did manage to do a little snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding excursion...which was really fun and it ended up being just the two of us!

We did rent a car and drive in to Puerto Vallarta for a day.  We had to revisit the spot on the beach where Brian proposed...and of course, have a celebratory margarita at La Palapa!
Cheers to 10 years!
No visit to PV is complete without a stop at La B Del M for some mojitos...yum!

So long Punta Mita!

  1. What a beautiful place Mommy and Daddy got to visit while celebrating their anniversary. The smiles on their faces show they were enjoying themselves. Returning home and seeing your sweet, happy face brought even bigger smiles and feelings of happiness! Thanks for sharing your house and Chloe and Bella while they were gone.

  2. Mommy and Daddy married 10 years --- wow! They celebrated in style in one of their favorite, beautiful places. And you were such a good girl while they were gone -- we grandparents loved spending time with you. What a special family---- we love you all so much!
