Field Trippin'

Mommy got to chaperone Sloane's first field trip with the three-year-old class...to the pumpkin patch!  We had so much fun learning about different types of squash, going on a hay ride, getting lost in a corn maze and picking out the perfect pumpkin!

Back to Borrego

We love a weekend in the desert...and we can say the same for our sun loving, water loving, adventure-loving girl.  So close...but feels so far away.  A true getaway...and such a treat.

When I found out teachers got free passes to Legoland...I thought, why not spend my birthday there!  Sloane had never been and it was sure to be a special day of family fun!  And that it was!

The only thing that would've made this better is if it were really NYC...

Happy Birthday Cia!

When our dear friends, the Fords, moved to SD in July we were so excited...Sloane especially!  Their daughter, Lucia, is one year older (almost exactly) and they have blossomed into the best of friends.  One of the perks of having them in town...getting to celebrate birthdays!  We were so excited to join Cia at Disneyland for her fourth birthday!

Sloane Taps and Twirls

When Sloane turned three she expressed interest in taking dance.  Being a longtime dancer myself...I jumped at the opportunity to get her involved in the world of dance.  She is taking a tap and ballet combo class (1/2 hour of each) and seems to really enjoy it!  She certainly LOVES the tutus!

KinderTots

Sloane enjoys our many trips to the SD Zoo...so when we got the opportunity to take part in their behind the scenes KinderTots program we jumped at it!

 At the end of the class, we had our own little sea lion show and Sloane got to pet him!
