Sloane enjoys our many trips to the SD Zoo...so when we got the opportunity to take part in their behind the scenes KinderTots program we jumped at it!

 At the end of the class, we had our own little sea lion show and Sloane got to pet him!

9/11

9/11 is a special day in our house #firefamily...and this year Daddy came to Mommy's school to speak about the importance of that day.  Sloane came to watch!

 On 9/11, NCFD always hosts a very special ceremony with FDNY firefighters who responded that day.  Daddy is on the color guard, which has a special presentation during the ceremony.

 Sloane was very excited to give her Daddy a hug!

This year Rescue 5 was parked at the station, which is an actual rescue unit from 9/11 that responded to the twin towers.  It now serves as a mobile museum.

Sloane Turns 3!

Sloane LOVES horses and going on pony rides...so we thought...why not have a pony party this year! Sloane loved playing with all of here friends at the park...and Teddy Bear the pony was hit!  We can't believe our sweet girl is THREE!

 Sloane is "not a fan" of cake/cupcakes...but she LOVES donuts!

After the party, it was back to Pappa and Nonna's for present opening and a birthday dinner!

 Sloane LOVED opening all of her presents and "reading" to us what the cards said!

 Mommy and Daddy got her an Anna dress and, needless to say, it was a big hit!

 Sloane LOVES to cook and she helped everyone make mini-pizzas for her birthday dinner.

Not a fan of cake...but ice cream cake is a different story!
