First Day in the 3s Class!

Sloane was thrilled to be starting the 3s class with Miss Lisa!
Sloane and her new teacher, Miss Lisa!

Saying Goodbye to Miss Fabiola and the 2s Class!

Sloane had her last day in the 2s class in August!  She was sad to say goodbye to Miss Fabiola...but super excited to move on to Miss Lisa and the 3s class!

She was also very excited that her friend, Martina, would be joining her in Miss Lisa's class!

Dr. Toppi

Sloane had her biannual visit to Dr. Toppi...her dentist...and had such a fun time she asked when we could go back!  I'd say that's a sign of a winning dentist!  Thanks Dr. Toppi!

 First dental x-rays.

Watching the Peanuts movie on the screen above the chair!
 Successful teeth cleaning!
Time to practice brushing with Mr. Alligator!
Dental check with Dr. Toppi...and then a booklet, a new toothbrush, stickers and a toy!
Thank you Dr. Toppi!

Sloane's First "Shortcut"

Sloane had her first haircut (which she calls a shortcut...not sure why...but super cute nonetheless) this summer and LOVED it.  She was thrilled with post-haircut Elsa braid the stylist put in and vowed never to take it out!
Sloane was so excited to sit in a fire truck for her haircut!

 And they have snacks?! Win!

 The coveted Elsa Braid!
 Happy girl!

Happy Birthday Pappa!

We celebrated Pappa's birthday with a hike through the Laguna Mountains!

Terrific Twelve

Brian and I celebrated our twelfth wedding anniversary on July 3rd and took a long weekend in Palm Springs after the 4th to celebrate and relax!

 The stunningly beautiful Ritz Carlton!

 The couple that hikes together...
 A little midcentury home tour

Fourth of July!

For the fourth this year we headed over to Coronado for the parade with our great friends, the Fords!

The girls were very excited about the ferry ride over to Coronado!

 Parade fun!

Heading back over for a BBQ and some fireworks!

Fun at the Fair

It had been FOREVER since Brian and I had been to the Del Mar Fair (aka San Diego County Fair)...and we figured Sloane was just about old enough to enjoy some fun at the fair...and she SURE did!
She loved all the rides...especially the swings!

Trying her hand at her first carnival game...

She won!
Mommy remembers making sand art at the fair...and loved seeing they still have it there!
Photo booth fun!
