Thanksgiving 2015

We began the holiday with a little crafting.  Sloane made both grandparents a little "give thanks" turkey created with her hand print.  She absolutely loved painting...and her crafty mama was excited too!

 The next day...it was off to the condo to celebrate Thanksgiving with Mimi, Cupka, the Pizzicas and Girvans.  Sloane was so excited to see Peyton and Hudson!

 We rode the train down to Solana Beach one day to have lunch!  She and Hudson were train buddies!

 We got to stop at the park before heading home and Sloane LOVED this tunnel twisty slide...she rode it OVER and OVER again...her smile says it all!

 At the end of the ride she got to meet the engineer!  She was way more excited than she looks in this picture!  All in all it was a wonderful holiday spent with family and friends!

Mimi Turns Seventy!!

Mimi turns seventy in December...but she'll be in Europe...so we celebrated early with a trip to Disneyland (her request!).  Sloane had a blast showing Mimi and Cupka all of her favorite things at Disneyland...especially Minnie's house!

 Sloane was very excited because we got to ride in the special caboose on the Disneyland Railroad...so she made sure to spread out and lay down on the entire seat...making the most of it!

A Day Out with Thomas!!

Thomas the train was coming to town and we knew we had to take Sloane to see one of her favorite "celebrities!"  It was great because the Girvans wanted to come too...and Sloane always loves a chance to play with Hudson and Peyton!

 Sloane loves playing with Hudson and even gave him a big hug...she was obviously more into it than he was.

Halloween 2015

We kicked off the season with a little Halloween photo shoot at the pumpkin patch to get us in the spirit!  Sloane loved wearing her kitty cat ears and dress while searching for the perfect pumpkin!

 We also got into the spirit with a little pumpkin carving.

 Sloane loved her pumpkin and was so excited to cut into it!

Peppa Pig!!

Sloane chose her costume this year...train engineer aka "choo choo girl" (her words)...either way we think she's pretty darn adorable!

All set for Halloween at the Smith's house with Cia!  

But first, a stop at Papa and Nonna's to trick or treat!

 Sloane loves her best friend Cia and was so thrilled to trick or treat with her.  Here they are having a little snack before heading out into the neighborhood.

 Cia's cousin Kasen also joined in on the fun...he is dressed up as Prince...the singer, not the royal...and his costume was amazing!

 And they're off!  Sloane heading up to the first house...she was a little apprehensive, but after the first few houses she had the hang of it!

Back at the Smith's house...the last stop of the night, where the grandpas were holding down the fort with all the trick or treaters!

 The next day we met up for a play date at the Children's museum and Sloane just loved showing Cia all around.

As it turns out...Courtney and I showed up wearing the exact same shirt...which took us back to the days when we actually intentionally dressed as "twins"...so funny and sadly...not the first time this has happened to us!  Great minds think alike!!
