Garrison Street

For those of you who don't know...Garrison Street is a street in Point Loma that goes above and beyond with their Christmas decorations every year.  We're talking an animatronic Santa's workshop a la Macy's in NYC.  We decided to take Sloane for a stroll down Garrison to further her first Christmas spirit.

 In addition to an obscene amount of lights on their house...every window in these people's homes is decorated in a thematic scene.

No first Christmas is complete without a trip to the mall to meet Santa!

Sloane's First Christmas Tree

Last week we took Sloane along on our annual trip to Home Depot to pick out a Christmas tree.  

Sloane enjoyed looking at all the lights and decorations 

and did a great job helping us find the perfect tree!

First Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we always take part in two traditions...big family meal with Daddy's side of the family and a late dinner with family and friends at Mimi and Grandpa's condo in Oceanside!

First Trip to the Fire Station

The Day before Thanksgiving Sloane went on her first trip to see Daddy at the fire station! 

 She was very excited!
